Description of the receiving organization:
I-Dare for Sustainable Development is a non-for-profit & non-governmental Jordanian organisation. As a social venture, the core of I-Dare actions is based on social marketing from early stages of idea development to successful achievement of desired impact.
I-Dare believes in youth as the driving force towards development in its comprehensive sustainable concept where social, economic and political dimensions are equally respected. I-Dare exists to be the platform for the voice and efforts of young active citizens in transforming their societies to achieve remarkable success in all their endeavours.

Projects description
1. #STEPforJordan „Social Tourism”
#STEPforJordan: Social Tourism Electronic Platform for mapping social tourism in Jordan.
– Mapping, product/service development
– Listing developed services (experience) on Airnb and other platforms
– Writing articles about social tourism for the website www.idareact.org
2. Communication and Outreach
For I-Dare we have a website, facebook page, twitter account, and a youtube channel. We need to strengthen the visibility of I-Dare online and to outreach for the maximum outreach and also to engage our readers and followers.
Tasks
1. To assist in communication and outreach of I-Dare’s projects.
2. To produce a periodical news letter.
3. To generate original content of text, poster, video…etc to help in keeping engaged our subscribers.
4. To take photos of I-Dare’s activities and projects.
5. To take and make videos of I-Dare’s activities and projects.
6. To manage the content and the design of the website.
Skills needed from volunteer:
1. Passion about social media (new-media) communication.
2. Knowledge of Facebook and Twitter.
3. Knowledge of design.
4. Knowledge of video capturing and editing (montage).
3. Animation & Graphic Designer
To support the work of iDare for Sustainable Development by taking care of communication material deisgn and being able to create some short animation videos to support iDare’s campaigns.
4. Researcher Assistant
To assist iDare team in different research we are carrying out.
Tasks for volunteers:
1. To assist in drafting the communication strategy (i.e. themes of learning blocks of topics and content that is coherent and consent with the objective).
2. To assist in generating original content; text, video, poster…etc
3. To manage blogging on our different social media
