The 11th Session of the World Urban Forum will be held during 26-30 June 2022 in Katowice under the slogan „Changing our cities for a better future”. The World Urban Forum is the largest global event on sustainable urbanization and urban policy, which is organized every two years by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme. In previous years WUF was held in Kenya, Brazil, Canada, and Italy, among others. Approximately 20,000 people from nearly 150 countries around the world will participate in WUF11, including representatives of governments, diplomacy, municipalities, financial institutions, and NGOs.
Join the group of World Urban Forum volunteers!
Volunteers at the World Urban Forum will provide information on the events taking place during WUF11, advise on public transport, and ensure that conference participants feel „at home” in Katowice. The activities will take place, among others, at the conference venue, at railway and bus stations, at airports in Katowice and Krakow, in the space adjacent to the conference venue, and urban space.
Recruitment for volunteering involves two steps: completing and submitting an application form and an individual interview.
Who can apply for volunteer position?
A person who on 01.05.2022 will be at least 18 years old and speaks English in a communicative way (knowledge of another foreign language is an advantage)
